Valser Quartzite, a gneiss from Switzerland, is quarried in Vals, Graubünden. Originally known as Valser Gneiss, it was renamed Valser Quartzite due to its quartzite-like inclusions. The gray hard stone impresses with silver and white inclusions and is considered frost and acid-resistant.
